How did Imam Ali (AS) describe foresight?
Imam Ali (AS) was asked: What is foresight? Imam (AS) replied: That is to wait for your opportunity, and when the right opportunity happened; jump on it (hurry and grab it) [1]. Regarding the same subject and in another narration, Imam Ali (AS) said: Think until you become a prudent person, and when all the details of the task are clear for you, then make a decisive/definite decision [2].
