What are the characteristics of pious people according to Imam Ali (AS)?
Imam Ali (AS) said: In their lives Allah (SWT) is great and others are small; it seems that they have seen heaven and live in its blessings; and believe in hell as if they have seen it and are trapped in its torments. The hearts of the pious people are grief-stricken and they do not bother others. Their bodies are thin and their wishes are few, and their souls are modest and they are chaste [1].
